Special Events Committee
The purpose of the Special Events Committee is to organize those events that are sponsored by the Chapter to promote relationships with vendors, chapter membership, and other external organizations and individuals. The Chair is responsible for overseeing the following Committees and recruiting volunteers for each specific project.
Partners' Dinner
The primary purpose of this event is to demonstrate in a formal setting the Chapter's appreciation of the support given to its members by their employer law firms.
Business Partners' Exhibit
The purpose of the Business Partners' Exhibit Committee is to provide income to the Chapter by organizing and managing this event which is also designed to promote positive relations between vendors and Chapter members and to provide vendors serving the legal community a venue in which to solicit business from law firms.
Holiday Party
The Holiday Party is an annual event held in December. The “party” is during the regular scheduled monthly meeting. There is no educational portion and members enjoy mingling and celebrating the season with their chapter friends.
Golf Tournament
The golf tournament is a new event initiated in July 2005. Similar to the Business Partners' Exhibit, its purpose is to provide income for the chapter as well as provide another opportunity for vendors, chapter members and other law firm personnel to spend time together.
